Responsibilities

We are hiring! Our FDA Program is looking to add a Smart Hands Technician . This qualified individual will join a high performing team.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for racking and stacking equipment, patch cabling, decommissioning equipment, equipment swaps and disposal activities.
• Support troubleshooting hardware issues with remote admins, facilities management, site security, vendor and customer escorts, inventory management and project engagement, as required.
• Will be onsite with our client in Ashburn, VA - M-F 8-5 and bi-weekly.  
• On-call rotation for after hours support

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School level reading, writing, and analytical skills 
• Minimum of 1 year of hands on experience in a datacenter.
• Rack and stack physical servers, network devices and appliances
• Experience with installation of patch cables
• Experience in decommissioning equipments
• Troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues experience
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, customer service and reliable team member
• On site M-F 8-5 and bi-weekly On-call rotation for after hours support
• Must be a US citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Public Trust clearance

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
