We’re seeking talented and driven Senior Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanicswho will help us achieve our goal of being “The Best Cat Dealer, Period.” This individual will have extensive experience in heavy equipment repair and technical knowledge of construction equipment and engine mechanical failures with a strong focus on customer service. WHAT YOU WILL DO
You’ll be responsible for set up, repair, service, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and installation of replacement parts on Caterpillar diesel-powered construction equipment. While you’ll work independently for the most part, there are also service mentors who will provide guidance as needed.
You’ll also
Interpret and analyze mechanical, hydraulic, and electric schematics and wiring diagrams
Provide high quality repair service on equipment engines
Serve customers’ needs in a positive, safe, and timely manner
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Diesel engine, construction equipment, and/or truck engine training through an accredited technical school OR relevant military experience preferred
5+ years of previous hands-on relevant experience with CAT equipment or similar industrial equipment and/or industrial engines
5+ years of experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting diesel-powered construction equipment or truck engines
Can work five-day work schedules and availability to work overtime or weekend hours as required
Owns a complete set of basic mechanical hand tools (drives, sockets, and wrenches)
Possess and maintain a current, valid state drivers’ license
