Job Title: Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst
The Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you play a pivotal role in driving the financial integrity and strategic planning of our organization. Your primary responsibility is to manage and refine the processes of financial reporting and analysis. This includes delivering monthly financial closings, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and ensuring accurate intercompany reconciliations. Your contributions will extend to the development of 10-year business plans, annual 3-year financial projections, and conducting regular cost analyses, providing the insights necessary for informed business planning. Furthermore, you leverage your technical expertise in Excel and SAP S/4Hana to create and maintain sophisticated financial models and tools. These tools will be vital in enhancing our financial forecasting capabilities and in the evaluation of project return on investment (ROI), ultimately supporting more effective and data-driven decision-making within the company.
Your Key Areas of Impact
**Streamlined Financial Reporting and Analysis:**
You deliver the monthly financial closing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. By preparing detailed financial reports and handling intercompany reconciliation, your work will enhance the reliability of our financial data. This, in turn, enables more informed and timely decision-making at all levels of the organization. Additionally, your excellent understanding of core finance principles, financial KPIs, and methods of financial scenario and investment analysis (such as discounted cash flow, net present value, etc.) will ensure that all financial reports are aligned with industry best practices and strategic objectives.
**Strategic Financial Planning and Insightful Analysis:**
Your expertise is crucial in developing regular updates of 10-year business plans, annual 3-year financial projections, and performing regular cost analyses. Through your monthly cash flow reports and business plans, you provide critical insights that aid in strategic planning, helping to optimize resource allocation and financial health. Furthermore, your experience in fixed asset monitoring and assets under construction reporting strengthens the organization's ability to manage and account for capital expenditures and investment projects.
**Advanced Technical Proficiency and Decision Support:**
Utilizing your expert skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP, you create and maintain business plans, financial models, calculation sheets, and cash flow simulation tools, which are essential in your ability to offer data-driven insights that improve financial forecasting, help in the evaluation of project ROI, and strengthen decision-making across departments. Your ability to leverage advanced financial techniques and scenario analysis ensures that you provide high-quality decision support that enhances organizational performance.
**SAP Utilization and Optimization:**
Your development of streamlined and efficient reporting of financial data through SAP S/4Hana ensures data integrity and consistency. By coordinating with internal and external experts, you help to solve shortcomings and continuously improve the organization's SAP capabilities. Your strong experience in fixed asset monitoring and reporting on assets under construction will contribute to the optimization of SAP utilization, further enhancing financial control and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial reporting, creation of detailed business plans, and investment analysis, preferably in the manufacturing industry or in finance consulting.
- Proficient understanding of US GAAP.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, allowing you to translate complex financial information in an understandable manner to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and expertise in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for SAP S/4Hana. Preferably, experience in ERP system implementations.
The Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel
Your work may be conducted at the plant site, located in De Soto, KS, at a remote location, such as a home office, or a combination. You must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting or standing, 90% of the time and be able to occasionally move about inside the facility. You will operate a computer 90% of the time. You may need to be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
