Summary: We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with a Public Trust clearance to research, design, implement, and manage software programs. The role involves writing and implementing efficient code, resolving software issues, developing quality assurance procedures, and leading a team of developers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Spring framework, and other relevant technologies. This role requires a strong ability to work independently and lead projects.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.
• Test and evaluate new programs, ensuring high performance and security.
• Write and implement efficient, maintainable code.
• Resolve software issues and implement improvements and enhancements.
• Develop quality assurance procedures, deploy software tools, and establish processes and metrics.
• Work closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.
• Act as a team leader on projects, instructing, assigning, directing, and checking the work of other developers.
• Participate in the development of software user manuals.
• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Spring framework, Angular, Node.js, shell scripting, and SQL.
• 13 to 20 years of relevant experience in software development.
• A degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field. If the degree is not in a related field, an additional four years of relevant experience is required.
• Ability to perform all functional duties independently.
• Experience in leading a team of developers and managing software projects.

Preferred:

• Special credentials (licenses or certifications) may be required on a case-specific basis.
