The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing executive administrative support to the Board of Directors and backup support to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, Chairman, and President. The Executive Assistant will report to the Director of the Office of the CEO, Chairman, and President. The role encompasses a broad variety of administrative including managing calendars, completing expense reports, composing, and preparing correspondence with a high level of confidentiality, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, preparing Board meeting agendas, compiling documents into Board books for meetings, assisting with Board and Committee minutes, coordinating on projects/requests for data with legal and regulatory areas, including both internal and external auditors. The Executive Assistant will research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns related to the Board of Directors and determine the appropriate course of action, referral, or response. The incumbent provides a bridge for smooth communication between the Executive Office and internal departments, as well as Board members and business contacts, all the while demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support. Primary responsibilities also include tracking Board meeting attendance, and fees, submitting expenses, assisting with Board minutes, maintaining Board of Director calendars, managing a variety of special projects, and prioritizing conflicting needs with deadline pressures. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM position, with occasional overtime, located at our Bank Center in Wilmington, DE.
