tag has recently re-opened our outlet store - a very popular Chicago shopping destination for many years.

tag Outlet is on the lookout for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to play an integral part in continuing to develop this legacy business.

Summary of Position .

The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to maintain seamless operations and deliver exceptional customer service. They will interact with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how tag products can fulfill those needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Schedule: Must be able to work 20-28 hours a week including weekends

  Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures and staff supervision.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment and merchandising to ensure adequate stock levels and attractive product displays
  • Actively drive sales by engaging with customers
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet financial goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or upper management
  • Help manage Part-time seasonal store staff

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years retail experience with some supervisory or managerial responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills,
  • Work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excel, Outlook and Square skills a plus
  • Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs
  • The position involves constant moving, talking, reaching, grabbing and standing for extended periods, the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and may occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
